About the event

Deep Lens is one of the fastest growing clinical research tech companies in the US, focused on matching cancer patients to life-saving clinical trials with unique artificial intelligence-driven services to community cancer providers.

Having left Adelaide in 1986 for a pole vaulting scholarship at the University of new Mexico (USA) he went on to represent Australia at 3 World Championships, 2 Commonwealth Games, 2 World Cups, and 2 Olympic Games.

His journey through sport into Entreneurship is one well owrth hearing while Simon is iun town for a few days .

 His philanthropy and volunteer work includes being co-founder and MC of the "Megan's Wings Gala" which raised $1M to assist the families of children diagnosed with cancer in their most difficult times. He is also the founder of "Olympians in Business" on LinkedIn which sports almost 2,000 Olympians from all sports with the goal of helping athletes transition from sports to the "real world" of business and career.

This event will be a cocktail party for 50 people at Moonshots, We will also be joined by Anton Van Den Hengel Director of Applied Science at Amazon, based in Adelaide and leading a Machine Learning research group, working on Visual Question Answering, Conversational Agents, and general Computer Vision, who will chat with Simon about their shared Visions.
